Networking Luncheon: Built Wright - How Strong Leaders Build Teams that Perform, Adapt, and Last
Why do some teams maintain high standards, hold one another accountable, and continue performing when the leader is not in the room, while others require constant supervision?
Join Hall of Fame Coach Bryant Wright and workforce strategist Mason Duchatschek for a practical, story-driven presentation based on their Amazon #1 bestselling book, Built Wright.
Coach Wright led teams to 13 state championships, including eight consecutive titles. That level of sustained success was not built on one unusually talented group, one exceptional season, or a motivational speech. It came from creating clear standards, developing people, reinforcing the right behaviors, and building a culture strong enough to endure changing circumstances and changing personnel.
During this session, Coach Wright and Mason Duchatschek will translate those lessons into practical ideas business owners, executives, and managers can use to strengthen their own organizations.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Establish standards people understand, remember, and take seriously
- Create accountability without relying on constant supervision
- Correct poor performance without destroying commitment
- Reinforce the behaviors and attitudes they want repeated
- Develop people with different abilities, personalities, and motivations
- Build a culture in which team members accept responsibility for one another
- Become more intentional about selecting the people invited onto the team
The session will conclude with an important advantage business leaders have that Coach Wright did not have: he had to develop everyone who showed up. Employers can be intentional about both developing the people already on their teams and selecting the people who join their organizations in the first place.
The program will include audience Q&A, followed by an opportunity to meet the authors, take photos, and have copies of Built Wright personally signed.
